Podcast: Trust and Advocacy in Real Estate
California Community College real estate classes lead to great real estate careers. CCCREEC supports real estate and appraisal education as a pathway to a bright future real estate career. We’re sharing resources on different facets of successful real estate careers across commercial and residential fields, so below you’ll find a short 13 minute conversation on trust and advocacy. You can share this with your students for a discussion or reflection assignment.
In this CCCREEC podcast, you’ll hear a conversation with Saddleback College real estate faculty Martin Welc and Brock Schermerhorn, and David Rosenthal, of Real Estate Advocates based in California. This short podcast covers Mr. Rosenthal’s take on client advocacy and how to quickly earn a client’s trust. This would make a great “guest lecture” in any real estate class, as David talks in great detail about methods he uses to earn and maintain a client’s trust throughout the transaction process.
The conversation includes David Rosenthal, the founder of Rosenthal Real Estate Advocates, a full-service real estate company that specializes in helping banks manage and sell foreclosed real estate assets. Rosenthal developed “The Real Estate Advocacy Method,” a scientific marketing and storytelling model which is designed to quickly increase property values to achieve the highest selling price possible. In addition, Rosenthal’s unequalled personalized marketing method and collaborative team approach has earned him the trust, respect and extensive praise from clients, communities, municipalities, and industry experts alike. Rosenthal earned a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA and a M.S. in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He is a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow, a former President of the Irvine Police Academy Alumni Association, a licensed real estate broker in California (Lic. No. 01173980) & Florida (Lic. BK3457139), a former banker (Real Estate Project Manager) and general contractor, and a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). David is recognized by LoopNet (The world’s largest online commercial real estate marketplace) as a “Top Orange County Deal Maker.” David, his wife and two children reside in Irvine, CA.
